We all know that bullying is a terrible problem in schools across America. At the same time there are many ways to react in a situation when your kid is being bullied. However, one way of handling bullies that must be avoided at all times is physically attacking the bully them – especially by parents of the bullied kids. But New Jersey mom Rebecca Sardoni did just that.

After her 9-year-old daughter suffered weeks of bullying torture, 28-year-old Toms River resident decided to take matters in her own hands. With her 51-year-old mother Stephanie Sardoni, she boarded a school bus and slapped and cursed at two fourth-grade bullies. She was later arrested by the police along with her mother.

According to details revealed by police officials, Rebecca demanded to talk to one of the boys responsible for bullying. She then allegedly slapped the boy, while her mother screamed at him.  However, in her defense Rebecca denied physically attacking anyone. ‘They (the boys) weren't the ones who were suffering; my daughter was,’ Sardoni said.‘They're making us look like bad people and we're not. This little girl has been through a lot.’ She added.

Rebecca said that she was forced to take such a step after school officials failed to take any action, despite the fact that they were repeatedly informed about the bullying of her daughter. The incident does show the extent to which some parents are willing to go above and beyond for their children.
