NY Daily News’ Graphic Cover Of Murdered Journalists Sparks Outrage

People are questioning what editors of the tabloid were possibly thinking when they decided to publish this graphic cover page.

The New York Daily News found itself in a firestorm of criticism after tweeting its choice of photos for the Aug. 27 front page highlighting the two television journalists shot and killed on live TV in Virginia by a disgruntled former employee of the news channel.

Readers were shocked to see the tabloid published the graphic images of the attack that were uploaded by the shooter.

The tabloid picked screengrabs from the grisly video recorded by Vester Lee Flanagan as he opened fire on 24-year-old reporter Alison Parker and Adam Ward, a 27-year-old cameraman, during a live interview for WDBJ7.
