LaGuardia Airport, one of the three major airports in New York City, was closed due to heavy flooding caused by superstorm Sandy. Thanks to photos that are now available from different sources, we can see the flooding and devastation that has occurred.

However, it is commendable to mention that despite all problems the airport will reopen Thursday with reduced service. Here is a look at some of the photos of LaGuardia put out by JetBlue on their site showing how Sandy made it impossible for the airport to function.
