The New York Daily News nails it again with a provocative and spot-on cover slamming the National Rifle Association’s executive vice president Wayne LaPierre as a terrorist.
"Syed Farook joins long list of murderous psychos enabled by the NRA's sick gun jihad against America in the name of profit," Friday’s front page reads.
The cover comes just one day after the NY Daily News released another contested cover criticizing politicians for their “thoughts and prayers” yet refusing to take substantial action in ending these overwhelmingly common massacres in the United States with stronger gun control.
The NY Daily News has a long history of calling out LaPierre for his vindictive efforts to stop stringent gun control measures in order fuel his own terrorist agenda deceptively warped as “American freedom.”
In a cover story just 10 days before the San Bernardino shooting, the newspaper labeled him as "Jihadi Wayne" in a piece discussing the NRA's numerous efforts to block gun control.
As NY Daily News rightly points out, the alleged mass shooters were well-equipped for battle thanks to America’s loose gun laws enacted by the brainwashed and submissive Congress that without hesitation caters to the NRA’s persistent pandering. Nowhere else in the world are guns so easily accessible and the U.S. is already numb from the NRA's disastrous consequences
U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has not researched gun violence in years despite President Barack’s Obama’s order to resume firearm studies in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. The agency fears Congress will halt its funding if they investigate firearms due to stark retaliation from the NRA.
The NRA continues to viciously undermine gun control efforts. After the Virginia Tech shooting, the organization was successfully able to manipulate legislation in their favor.
Yet with another bloody carnage gone by, averaging our country’s sick gun violence to a more than daily occurrence, progress remains at a standstill as the NRA lobbyists stifle efforts once more.
On Thursday, the Senate voted against banning individuals from the F.B.I.’s terrorist watchlist from obtaining guns and explosives.
"If you need proof that Congress is a hostage to the gun lobby, look no further than today’s vote,” Senator Dianne Feinstein, who sponsored the measure, said.
Congress has blood on their hands and the NRA is slyly handing over the blade.
