Obama's comments were called sexist (and, yeah, would he have said that about an equally good looking man?), though he had some unlikely defenders at Fox News.
Obama likely put the kerfuffle to rest with his apology, as the people who generally want to hurt Obama politically are, as Fox News showed, not the sort who would actually care about a remark like that.
