Just New Productions brings us a new song ‘Obama That I Used To Know’ which is a parody of one of this year’s top songs ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ by Gotye.

The parody is about President Barack Obama and his actions after being elected president in 2008. The lyrics sung here all reflect what Obama did a few years ago and how that has changed now. The video is impressively close to the original where the singer Gotye is singing next to female vocalist Kimbra while a painting is made over them in stop-motion. Just here the painting is a graffiti of President Obama.

With the YouTube comment board already flooding with ‘democrats vs. republicans’ arguments, this video is more than just a parody, maybe it will influence the voting decisions of our generation.
