Online Gaming Team Bags Over A Million Dollars In Tournament

A team of Evil Geniuses is probably going to stick to gaming for a living.

Evil Geniuses, a video-game team, just won an international championship for their gaming talent – along with $1.2 million to boot.

The team is made up of a diverse set of individuals from all corners of the world, including a female gamer as well as a 15-year-old boy from Pakistan.

They won the world’s second biggest tournament, the Dota2 Asian Championships. Dota2 is an online battle arena game that was released in 2013 as a sequel to Defense Against the Angels.

The championship, also known as The Oriental, is an international gaming tournament that takes place in Shanghai, China.

The Evil Genius were one of 16 qualified teams that made it into the tournament. They played against the other teams over a period of five days and won the final battle against ViCi Gaming, the runner-up team.
