Passengers Were In Cockpit Before Deadly Polish Crash

A preliminary investigation into the plane crash that killed Poland's president and dozens of the country's top officials has found that several passengers were present in the cockpit just before the accident.Speaking at a Moscow conference on the accident, Tatyana Anodyna -- head of the Russian committee that examines crashes in the former Soviet Union -- said investigators had deciphered one of the TU-154 transport plane's black boxes and that Polish authorities had identified one of the passengers' voices, Russian news agency Itar-Tass reported.Officials have not yet named the person. However, Polish news agency PAP, citing a source close to the investigation, said one of the voices was that of Andrzej Blasik, commander in chief of Poland's air force.
