Paul Ryan Now Supports Gay Adoption (VIDEO)

Though former vice-presidential and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan still opposes marriage equality, reproductive rights and safe access to abortion care, he is of the opinion that gay couples can adopt helpless, orphan children who need a family.

When he was asked a question about gay rights in a press conference, Ryan replied by saying that he felt differently about adoption these days than what he did in 2000 when he voted against gay adoption.

He said, “I do believe that if our children who are orphans, who do not have a loving person or couple… I think if a person wants to raise and love a child they ought to be able to do that.”
