Looks like most people do have a sense of morality after all. After the unfortunate accident in Hong Kong where a van delivering money resulted in massive cash grab worth $2 million off the street, two people have been arrested in Hong Kong.

A 43-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested after they allegedly collected the cash and hid it in their homes.

On the other hand, 29 others came clean, returning the money they took from the unfortunate accident.

The security company that operates the cash transport service, G4S, stated that a majority of the money has been returned. It’s very likely that the people who voluntarily returned the money will not face charges.

“G4S vehicles have in place a number of systems to prevent such occurrences and G4S has commenced an immediate investigation into the causes of the incident,” they said. “We will take urgent steps to prevent any similar cases happening again in the future.”

There’s no such thing as free money. Thank goodness most people have the sense to realize that.
