Striker for English Premier League’s West Bromwich Albion, Peter Odemwingie took to Twitter to express his grievances about how his club is treating him unfairly.
The player accused West Brom of ‘threatening to ruin his career by keeping him on the bench since his failed attempt to leave in January’.
Odemwingie’s criticism followed his failed move to Queens Park Rangers when he turned up at Loftus Road without permission. His manager Steve Clarke said that his drive to London was an act of ‘lunacy’. Odemwingie was fined for his outburst and has appeared only in four games since, all as a substitute.
The upset player then posted a rant on Twitter which generated a sort of debate on the social media website:
Keeping me on the bench now is worst than what they did on the 31st. New advisers told me to take say its all my fault cos its better or me— Peter Odemwingie (@OdemwingieP) March 17, 2013

The footballer also received some responses which were mainly negative:
Odemwingie is a joker really. Taking it on twitter to abuse his own club and management. Classless.— Udit Momaya (@carefreeudit) March 18, 2013

It appears that Odemwingie has taken down a couple of tweets but a screen shot is available for the deleted posts:
