Jan 26 - The worlds largest drug maker will pay $68 billion for Wyeth, boosting its pipeline as it gets closer to losing its patent on the cholesterol drug Lipitor. Pfizer is paying $68 billion dollars for rival drug maker Wyeth, while announcing lower quarterly earnings and plans to slash its dividend in half. Pfizers acquisition successfully tapped into the credit markets-- a sign of confidence in the companys strategy, according to analysts. Bobbi Rebell reports.
