Being a religious minority in Pakistan can’t be easy.

Just recently, news of a Christian couple who were beaten to death and then burned hit the media by storm. It happened in Pakistan, whose flag has a white moon crescent and star on its mostly green surface. The white represents the minorities – for which there are no proper statistics to quote and include Christians, Hindus and those not in the majority Muslim sect, i.e. Ahmedis and Shias.

However, these photos of Christians in the troubled nation depict a very limited perspective on their lives, living as a minority in a developing and politically unstable country.
