MARTINSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - A person was shot Friday at a middle school in south-central Indiana and a suspect is in custody, state police said.
The victim was shot twice in the stomach Friday morning at West Middle School in Martinsville, Sgt. Kirk Durnil said.
Durnil has no details of the victim's condition and did not identify the suspect in custody.
He said he did not know if the person shot was a student or a member of staff at the school in Martinsville, a small city some 30 miles south-west of Indianapolis.
All schools in Martinsville have been locked down following the shooting.
