After wrapping up his second inaugural address in front of the U.S. Capitol on Monday, President Obama, amid all the frenzy paused for a while to relish the moment.
Standing on the steps of the Capitol's West Front President Obama stopped for a final, appreciative and quite a pensive look at the throng gathered to salute his presidency. “I’m going to take a look one more time,” he said, standing in the doorway. “I’m not going to see this again.”
As Washington post notes, the crowd was ‘one of the largest in history to witness a president's second inauguration’, no wonder President Obama allowed himself a sentimental moment to value that historical moment one last time.
