BBC Channel 4 presents a documentary that astounds as well as moves the viewer. Matthew and Michael Clark are brothers-42 and 39 years old respectively but their mental age is that of 10-year-old children.

Looking at them now, it’s hard to believe till 2007, they had led normal lives; Michael served in the Royal Air Force and later became a cabinet maker while Matthew worked in a factory. Life changed forever for them as well as their families when they were diagnosed with the Leukodystrophy.

Leukodystrophy is a rare neurodegenerative disease which is progressive degeneration of the white matter of the brain turning them into boys trapped in adult bodies. Exactly like the 2008 Brad Pitt starrer, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. But, as their distraught mother puts it, that was fantasy, this is reality!

All I see, is that this two guys being studied are just making their family have a hard time. I'm sorry for them who are blind to see that they are doing nothing but harm to a family that has been for years trying to live with this, accepted their lives and their ways. But now they are being supported by scientists and others giving them hope that someday they will understand what's going on with them. It's just bad what they do to people like them and to their families.
