Man Brilliantly Hands In Two Weeks Notice As A Condolence Card

An employee who is identified as “Alex” submitted his two weeks’ notice to his employer oddly through a condolence card that he signed and dated.

This man thought of a creative way to break the news to his boss that he would be resigning from the company.

Redditor springmint5, whose real name is Alex, found a sympathy card in an aisle of a nearby shop, decided to purchase it and use the card as a way of quitting, according to Mashable.

“Even though you knew this time would come, there’s no way to prepare you for this loss,” the letter reads.

Alex wrote his name and date on the card along with writing “2-week’s notice” and posted a picture on Reddit with the title, “I just quit my job the best way I know how.”

This isn’t the first time that an employee thought of a unique way to quit their job.

Two years ago, Charlo Greene, a former reporter for KTVA, quit her job on air after promoting the legalization of marijuana, used the f**k word and automatically resigned, Mashable reported.

If people are going to quit their job, they might as well do so as they so choose, as long as it is in an appropriate manner.
