Remember Sarah Palin’s Turkey Pardoning Fiasco? (VIDEO)

The video may be from 2008, but the humor and hilarity it carries hasn’t faded yet. Fresh off a defeat in the 2008 presidential elections, Alaska Governor Sarah Palin headed to a turkey farm in her hometown of Wasilla, Alaska to pardon a local bird on Thanksgiving, a common practice among governors. She delivered her prepared remarks over frequent interruptions from chuckling birds.

However, what happened next was entirely unexpected. While she was giving an interview afterwards, at the very precise moment a worker in the background shoved a couple of turkeys neck-first into a death grinder while Palin yammered on, seemingly oblivious to the carnage taking place right behind her.

Watch the video which is bound to be regarded as the greatest turkey-related disaster in the history of politics.
