Rob Ford, who amazingly is still the mayor of Toronto, continues to shock with the revelations that are trickling out about him. Court documents on Rob Ford’s behavior have been released, and there are some hilarious (or depressing, depending on your perspective) details about Ford’s behavior. A waiter at a popular Toronto restaurant (with a dance floor), said that he was Rob Ford snorting coke in a private room, and that Ford later “charged the dance floor.” A former staffer of Ford’s informed the authorities that he saw Ford at City Hall with women he believed to be escorts. Escorts is a nice way of saying prostitutes.

While we might not ever find out the full extent of Rob Ford’s debauchery, it’s clear enough that this wasn’t just a few wild nights, this was how Rob Ford lived his life. Staffer Isaac Ransom claimed that he saw Ford down 200 ounces of vodka and announce that he was going to get hammered and have sex that night. There are multiple reports of Ford getting inappropriate with female staffers (who were not interested) and at least one of Ford pushing a staffer into a wall and threatening to hit him.

More than one staffer told police that Rob Ford liked to drink and drive. Ford has already admitted to buying illegal drugs and has more or less admitted to smoking crack.

Ford is still the mayor of Toronto, which is the fifth largest city in North America (and just a tick behind fourth largest Chicago). The city council voted 37-5 to have Ford take a leave of absence while this all gets sorted out. Which means that five Toronto city councilmembers thought that Ford should stay on the job.
