Giuliani Says Trump Is A Feminist & Clinton Is 'Too Stupid’ To Lead US

The former mayor, whose cheating scandal made headlines, declared Clinton unfit to be the president because she stood by her husband after his affair.

Former New York City mayor and prominent Donald Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani called Hillary Clinton “too stupid to be president” in an interview following the first presidential debate.

He also defended the Republican nominee as a “feminist” for hiring women to work in his company while criticizing the Democratic candidate for standing by her husband after his extramarital affair with an intern.

“The president of the United States, her husband, disgraced this country with what he did in the Oval Office and she didn’t just stand by him, she attacked Monica Lewinsky,” Giuliani told an Elite Daily reporter. “And after being married to Bill Clinton for 20 years, if you didn’t know the moment Monica Lewinsky said that Bill Clinton violated her that she was telling the truth, then you’re too stupid to be president.”

Firstly, Lewinsky never said that President Clinton “violated” her.

Secondly, at the time of the scandal, Giuliani himself made headlines for cheating on his wife, whom his divorce lawyer later compared to a pig. As The Huffington Post points out, the statement sounded worse coming from the man who also publicly humiliated his second wife by announcing his divorce plans at a news conference before even consulting her — or their children, for that matter.

Giuliani also labeled Trump a feminist, despite the business mogul’s penchant for  sexism, his threat to bring Gennifer Flowers (a woman who had an affair with Bill Clinton) to the debate, and the fact that he doubled down on the attacks against former Miss Universe Alicia Machado.

The Trump crony also declared that the GOP candidate should boycott the next two debates.

“If I were Donald Trump I wouldn’t participate in another debate unless I was promised that the journalist would act like a journalist and not an incorrect, ignorant fact checker,” Giuliani exclaimed. “The moderator would have to promise that there would be a moderator and not a fact checker and in two particular cases an enormously ignorant, completely misinformed fact checker.”

At a time when the Trump campaign is trying to do away with petty controversies, Giuliani — the man who once forgot that 9/11 ever happened — is certainly not helping the case.
