Donald Trump's favorite way to give himself an ego boost is to bring others down. Be it his rival Hillary Clinton or President Barack Obama, Trump takes a jab at anyone and everyone who comes his way.
And he is not the only one in doing so; similar traits can be found in his supporters as well.
Former New York City mayor and Trump campaign adviser Rudy Giuliani, during an interview with Fox News Sunday, attacked Hillary Clinton by questioning her mental health. He even blamed the media for not giving the subject enough attention and importance.
Shannon Bream then asked Giuliani for an explanation regarding Clinton’s lead over Trump in the polls. “Then why is she doing so well in the polls?”
Giuliani took no time to turn the blame on “liberal media” that apparently “constantly demonizes Donald Trump” while turning a blind eye to Clinton’s own shortcomings.
“She has The New York Times, she has the [New York] Daily News, she has ABC, she has CBS, she has NBC. She has an entire media empire that constantly demonizes Donald Trump and fails to point out that she hasn’t had a press conference in 300 days — 200 days, 100 days, I don’t know how long — and fails to point out several signs of illness by her,” Giuliani said.
“All you got to do is go online … Go online and put down ‘Hillary Clinton illness’ and take a look at the videos for yourself,” he added.
Seriously, did he really suggest consulting Google to determine a presidential candidates’ mental illness?
Interestingly, Clinton’s physician, Lisa Bardack, reaffirmed in a statement released on Aug. 16, that “Secretary Clinton is in excellent health and fit to serve as president of the United States.” But of course, the Donald’s doctor made things a little more dramatic when he declared Trump would be “the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency.”
On the same day in a speech on national security Trump had claimed that Clinton “lacks the mental and physical stamina” to be commander in chief.
Well, honestly anyone would do a better job as president than Trump himself given he has no clue of the things he says. In an earlier incident a mob of protesters turned up at a Trump rally, and one man rushing toward the stage was charged with disorderly conduct. But Donald Trump, who thinks he knows more than anyone else, tweeted. “He has ties to ISIS, should be in jail” and linked it to a fake video. In his defense the business mogul said “What do I know about it. All I know is what’s on the internet.”
Looks like even Giuliani doesn’t know anything beyond what he finds on Google.
