On December 29, 2012 a Red Wings Flight 9268, crashed on landing and colliding with a motorway barrier at Moscow Vnukovo International Airport. There were eight crew members on board of which four were killed and the other four injured.

The wreckage is thrown into the path of oncoming cars on the motorway. The driver whose dashboard camera caught this on tape was lucky enough to miss getting hit by flying debris! His camera did capture one vehicle struck by it but escaping any serious damage.

The footage shows luggage and other debris flying from the aircraft. Loud bangs can also be heard as the plane impacted with the ground and the cars were hit by the wreckage.

Five people - the pilot, co-pilot, flight engineer and two flight stewards - were killed in the crash and another three seriously injured after the aircraft overshot a runway at Moscow's Vnukovo airport.

Investigators said they were examining the black boxes to try to determine the cause of Saturday's crash, which cracked the wings off the Tupolev-204 plane and split the fuselage clean into three pieces.
