Remember "Hot Cop of Castro" From San Francisco? He Just Got Arrested

San Francisco’s most popular cop lands himself in trouble and is now on administrative leave, pending investigation.

A San Francisco officer, commonly known as the “Hot Cop of the Castro,” was arrested in an alleged hit-and-run case on Sunday.

Christopher Kohrs, 38, was on medical leave when he allegedly ran into two men crossing the street in the city’s North Beach Neighborhood and reportedly left his orange Dodge Charger and fled the scene. According to the two victims, both in their 40s, were seriously injured in the incident.

Kohrs faces two charges of felony hit-and-run involving injury.

He had become a social media sensation after a writer had snapped a photo of him and uploaded to Facebook, after which a page was set up in Kohrs’ name. It has approximately 52,000 likes.
