Sarah Palin carried out yet another vicious attack on Barack Obama, this time in a column for Breitbart.com.
The Fox contributor compared the President to a “wife beater” and also called for his impeachment.
Here’s the nut graph of her write-up:
“Enough is enough of the years of abuse from this president. His unsecured border crisis is the last straw that makes the battered wife say, ‘no mas’”
As ridiculous as her analogy might sound, this isn’t the first time she makes us want to shout-out “shut up Sarah Palin.”
There have been many occasions when she proved herself to be one of the dumbest political pundits around. Here are some of the best examples:
When she called North Korea a U.S. ally
In a radio interview with Glenn Beck, discussing the tensions in the Korean Peninsula, Palin said:
"We've got to stand with our North Korean allies".
Many said it was a slip of the tongue. However, given her lack of general knowledge, it’s possible she actually believed this to be true.
Talked about Russia’s proximity with Alaska
In a CBS interview with Katie Couric, Sarah Palin explained why Alaska's proximity to Russia gives her foreign policy experience.
“As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border."
The time she talked about Syria
Of all the things she could’ve said about the civil war in Syria last year, Palin said this:
“These radical Islamic countries, who aren’t even respecting basic human rights, where both sides are slaughtering each other as they scream over an arbitrary red line, ‘Allah Akbar,’ I say until we have someone who knows what they’re doing, I say let Allah sort it out.”
And the time she talked about the Chinese
Last year, the former Alaska governor said that federal debt from China would eventually enslave Americans. She made the observation during a recent speech to promote her book “Good Tidings and Great Joy: Protecting the Heart of Christmas.”
“Our free stuff today is being paid for today by taking money from our children and borrowing money from China. When that note comes due — and this isn’t racist so try it anyway, this isn’t racist — but it’s going to be like slavery when that note is due, right? We are going to be beholden to a foreign master,” she opined.
When she shared her views on waterboarding
Earlier in April, Palin delivered probably one of her highly controversial remarks during an NRA’s “Stand and Fight Rally”.
Palin stated that if she was president – God forbid – she would baptize terrorists with waterboarding.
“If I were in charge,” Palin said, “[America's enemies] would know that waterboarding is how we baptize terrorists.”
