She had it coming! Renowned, indeed, notorious for her shopaholic ways, Saudi princess Maha Al- Sudairi had been causing a lot of trouble in Europe.

She was previously nabbed by the five-star Shangri-La hotel in Paris as she tried to dodge paying the bill worth no less than US$ 7.4 million!

Maha Al-Sudairi, ex wife of Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz is known for extravagance, indulgence and leaving behind un paid bills

The latest on her is that she is to have her assets in France seized in order to meet the payments of unpaid bills.

At the Shangri-La, she took over an entire 41-room floor and while in Paris embarked on an extravagant shopping spree, where it is believed she spent over $10m on luxury goods, art and jewellery.

Claiming diplomatic immunity, she initially moved to the five-star Royal Monceau Hotel, which is owned by a ‘family friend’ and then left France.

But lawyers for the Shangri-La have now won a legal bid to have her assets in France seized.

How are they going to do it?

It’s not that complicated really. She had three storage units in Paris loaded with millions of Euros worth of luxury goods!

Her belongings will need to be valued and then sold at auction and if all goes without hitch (not very likely), her long line of creditors can get their money back.
