Second London Underground Strike Threatens Travel Chaos

Services on the Circle, Central and Waterloo and City lines are suspended, while services on the other lines have been part suspended. Members of the RMT and TSSA unions walked out at 1830 BST on Sunday over plans to cut 800 ticket office jobs. Transport for London said about 75% of stations on the network were open. Services are said to be running normally on the Docklands Light Railway but services on London Overground have been part suspended due to faulty trains and signalling problems. TfL is laying on 100 extra buses and has increased capacity to allow for more than 10,000 extra river journeys.
