Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy decided to give his review of the year 2015 by listing every single mass shooting that occurred in the United States.

In a truly powerful move, Connecticut Sen. Chris Murphy decided to give his review of the year 2015 by listing every single mass shooting that occurred in the United States, one tweet at a time.

Murphy, who is a huge supporter for stricter gun laws, took on the issue of gun violence before the beginning of the new year, leaving his followers with a powerful message of change

"For my 2015 year in review I’m listing all of them - every injury and every death in every mass shooting this past year," he began. "2015 started in the early hours of January 1st when 5 people were shot on a New Year’s Eve party bus in Memphis."

He continued this, posting every mass shooting to occur in the year 2015, until he finally reached the end of the year.

"That was 2015. Just the MASS shootings . And odds are there will be another tonight," he tweeted. "No other country compares. No other nation's government is so indifferent."

His last tweet on the matter is by far his most powerful: "My point? The New Year's resolution of every Congressman and Senator should be to make sure 2016 is different."
