Life in Syria's capital city of Damascus has been deeply disturbed for the past few years, thanks to the country's civil war.
On the outskirts of Damascus is a town called Jobar, where these effects of Syria's internal strife are most visible. This is, after all, the place where the infamous chemical attacks of 2013 took place.
With warfare now firmly established as a part of its daily life, Jobar has fallen into a state of disrepair. It still harbors life, but it's not even a shadow of its former self.
Jobar's ruinous condition can be seen in a new video, which is posted above.
