Penelope Soto, the 18-year-old teenager who flipped off a judge during her bond hearing returned to the same courtroom but this time without all that swearing and cursing which got her almost a month in jail.

“My behavior was very irrational and I apologize not only to the court and you, but to my family,” the teary-eyed South Florida teen said to Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat.

She had been sentenced to complete a drug-treatment program by a different judge after she had admitted to possession of Xanax Bars.

The Judge remarked that Penelope Soto looked ‘completely different’ and agreed to vacate her 30-day contempt sentence and said that he didn’t want her to be labeled as a convicted felon.

It seems Soto has learnt her lesson that flipping a judge might make you popular on internet but certainly not in the eyes of law.
