Tension Eased In Syria's Daraa

Many protesters have died at the hands of security forces in the southern Syrian city of Daraa.

But tension there seems to have been significantly reduced after a local delegation met President Bashar al-Assad.

They say the president promised serious reforms, including to lift the emergency law.

Al Jazeera's Rula Amin has this exclusive report from Daraa, where a peaceful protest was held on Friday.
