With every generation in politics comes another George Bush to lead the Republicans, and this decade may be no different. George P. Bush, son of Jeb Bush (former Governor of Florida and brother of the last Republican president, George W. Bush), has filed papers to run for office in Texas, though he has not said which office he will run for. George P. Bush is very much in the mold of what the G.O.P. is trying to become: young and Latino, two groups that Republicans need to make inroads with to avoid elections like the one they had on Tuesday.
It's more than a little premature, but one can't help but wonder if the Republicans can elect three consecutive presidents (not counting Democrats) all named George Bush.
