Rescue workers continue to search for victims after whole neighborhoods are razed by the Oklahoma tornado that killed at least 24.

On Monday, a two-mile or about three-kilometer wide tornado ripped through Moore on the outskirts of Oklahoma City.

Residential neighborhoods are now covered in mangled debris

Streets signs no longer point anywhere.

A smashed car rests on a bed of debris.

Authorities say at least 24 people were killed, children are among the dead.

But more than 100 people have been pulled from their homes and no one is giving up yet.

President Barack Obama has declared a major disaster area in Oklahoma, ordering federal aid to supplement state and local efforts in Moore.
