Alan Cross shared some amazing images of the mess that was created when Singapore Airlines flight SQ308 flying from Singapore to London hit turbulence.
It was a mess alright, from meals flying in the air and coffee being flung all over the place, the only thing that has any modicum of peace is the faces of the two flight attendants! Have a look:
Don’t you agree?
The passengers were warned to expect a bit of turbulence and as a result the breakfast service would be temporarily suspended and the fasten seat belt sign came on.
About a minute later, the captain came on with a rather urgent-sounding order for all flight attendants to immediately take their seats.
According to Cross it felt like“being in an elevator with a cut cable or free-falling from some amusement park ride.”
Everything that wasn’t tied down, including a few people, hit the ceiling, he said
However, Cross said, “The cabin crew was amazing in the aftermath, as were fellow passengers who helped everyone around them then in a calm and efficient clean-up.”
Well, all’s well that ends well! We are sure this is one journey Cross and his fellow passengers won’t forget anytime soon!
