Following a class action lawsuit, Ticketmaster is correcting its past mistakes of overcharging by offering free ticket vouchers to customers who were affected.

Update: Ticketmaster recently released the list of 431 concerts past customers can choose from to redeem their free tickets and discount codes on, according to SF Weekly.

The list includes complementary tickets to Pitbull, Joan Jett, Rascal Flatts, Melissa Etheridge, and Darius Rucker.

From 1999 to 2013, millions of customers have bought tickets from Ticketmaster and never received a refund for the “Order Processing Fee” they paid for at checkout.

Ticketmaster is now offering those millions of U.S. customers “at least one” ticket code voucher to settle a lawsuit that was filed by a group of customers in 2003 and finally settled last April.

Last year, Ticketmaster settled the lawsuit by issuing $45 million in free ticket vouchers, cash and discounts to the millions of paid customers from 1999 to 2013, even though the company denied claims that they were in the wrong.

“The lawsuit claimed that the ticketing website charged customers ‘excess and deceptive’ fees,” according to CNN.

The free ticket code gives customers a chance to redeem two general admission tickets for select events owned by Live Nation Entertainment; which is associated with Ticketmaster.

Customers will receive up to $10 in discount codes for UPS shipping and should have received the code information by June 18, according to Ticket Fee Litigation.

The particular events owned by Live Nation have not been made available yet, but once they are open, the tickets to the events will be accessible to customers on a first come, first served basis.

Ticketmaster needed to be held accountable for their bogus, unnecessary excess fees over the years and now concertgoers are able to enjoy a free show, courtesy of the company.
