Toddler Breaks Into White House, Gets A Timeout

Kids commit the darndest White House security breaches.

The Secret Service hunted down a pint-sized criminal Thursday when a toddler slipped through the White House security gates.

Kiddo or no, protocol ruled: Pennsylvania Avenue was shut down and the White House locked down until the kiddie culprit was caught. The Secret Service didn't release any details of the budding criminal.

What does setting off a major security breach get you? Five minutes in timeout, maybe.

"We were going to wait until he learned to talk to question him, but in lieu of that he got a timeout and was sent on [his] way with parents," Secret Service spokesman Edwin Donovan said.
