Veteran Australian radio presenter John Laws has brought his experience into question after he had a rather inappropriate conversation with a female caller on the phone.

An anonymous woman phoned John Laws on his radio program to discuss her personal struggle with life while suffering sexual abuse at the hands of five male family members.

The poor woman narrated her experience through sobs and tears how her father, brother and uncles molested her. The presenter asked her age when the abuse began and she replied that she was six when her ordeal began and continued until she was sixteen years old. She called the radio station to talk about how she plans to keep the dream alive, the motto of Laws’ program.

But what John Laws asked her later was actually quite depressing and disgusting.

According to a news website, Laws said, “My God they were having a good time with you.” He further embarrassed her by asking, “Was it any way your own fault? You weren’t provocative?” The girl replied by saying that she wasn’t provocative because she was just a little girl at that time. He also asked the girl whether or not she was attractive, to which the girl replied, “I think I am all right.”

There is also a Facebook photo going viral over the internet in which Laws is being condemned for not regretting his line of questioning.
