In what could be an historic rebuke to the Republican Party, former U.S. President George H.W. Bush reportedly said he will vote for Hillary Clinton in November.
The shocking revelation came from a Facebook post by Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, former lieutenant governor of Maryland and daughter of Robert F. Kennedy.
And Bush isn’t alone.
Since the beginning of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign last year, several GOP members have questioned whether the media mogul even belongs in the party.
In fact, in the wake of Trump’s incendiary rhetoric, a growing number of both current and former GOP lawmakers — nearly two dozen — have come out against Trump.
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say the media mogul has proved to be the single most divisive Republican presidential nominee perhaps in the history of the Republican Party.
