Train Hero Stabbed In Second Brush With Death In Two Months

From foiling a gunman on a French train to being stabbed outside of a bar in Sacramento, Spencer Stone proves he is one tough guy.

Three men made big news when they thwarted a mass shooting attack on a train in France. One of those men, Spencer Stone, was stabbed during a street brawl this morning in Sacramento, California.

He is reportedly in stable condition after undergoing surgery and his injuries are not considered to be “life-threatening,” Huffington Post reports.

One thing that the recent events in Stone’s life have taught us is that he is a true survivor.

This incident marks the second time in less than six months that Stone has stared in the face of death and come out victorious.

Some social media users suspect that this incident may be linked to the Umpqua Community College Shooting. Stone's childhood friend and fellow train hero, Alek Skarlatos was reportedly supposed to be attending classes at the college the day of the mass shooting, but missed school while in Los Angeles filming Dancing With The Stars and an appearance on Ellen.

The investigation of Stone's attack is underway, but the suspects were reportedly two Asian adult males wearing white T-shirts and blue jeans. They both fled the scene after the stabbing.

Stone "was out with a group of friends when a physical altercation led to the victim being stabbed multiple times in his upper body," the Sacramento Police Department posted on Facebook.

The attack was not "in any way, shape or form linked to terrorism" or to the incident in France, Sacramento police said. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the attack as the fight broke out near a bar when an altercation between two groups of friends escalated.
