For Clinton, This Presidential Candidate Is ISIS’ Best Recruiter

Clinton said a certain Republican hopeful's rhetoric of fear is not in the United States' favor. In fact, it helps terrorists.

Voicing the concerns of many other sane human beings, Hillary Clinton remarked that Donald Trump is well on his way to becoming "ISIS’ best recruiter."

Donald Trump

“They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists,” Clinton said during the latest Democratic debate on Saturday.

Trump, who has always invited controversy and conceit with his comments, recently came under fire for mirroring ISIS' "us v. them" agenda.

By creating a divide between the Muslim and the "heathen" world, ISIS believes it will be much easier to annihilate the latter. This exclusionary ideology is exactly the one Trump has been mirroring over the past few months.

Clinton's accusation, although without any corroborating evidence, finds support in the statements of David Phillips, director of the Program on Peace-Building and Rights at Columbia University's Institute for the Study of Human Rights, and Rita Satz of the SITE Intelligence Group.

"They (ISIS) follow everything Donald Trump says," Satz said. "When he says, 'No Muslims should be allowed in America,' they tell people, 'We told you America hates Muslims and here is proof.'"
