Trump, Pope Francis Share Rank As Second Most Admired Men In The World

Americans must have been confused when they gave Donald Trump the same second place ranking as Pope Francis for most admirable man in the world.

The results of the annual Gallup survey determining the most admired figures in the world have been released and some of the rankings are surprising and disturbing.

This year the poll surveyed 824 adults, nationwide, by landlines and cellphones.

Americans voted Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and President Barack Obama as the most admired woman and man in the world.

Malala Yousafzai was runner-up to Clinton for the women while Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, tied at second with Pope Francis for the men.

Yes, you read that right … Donald Trump tops the list in the company of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai, Pope Francis, President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for most admired people in the world.

It’s almost like playing that childhood game of, “which one doesn’t belong?”

This is actually Trump’s fifth time ranking in the top 10; however, he was previously known as a respected, filthy rich real estate mogul but now that he’s running for president his true colors as a racist, misogynist, fear-mongering bigot have been unveiled.

You would think that those negative traits would drop him off the list, but as the political polls have shown, many Americans actually support Trump and his beliefs.

It’s not just the right-wing conservatives that are keeping him relevant either, he has even infiltrated traditionally liberal states like California where a state department of transportation sign was recently reprogrammed by vandals to say, “Inland Empire supports Donald Trump. Merry Xmas. Vote Donald Trump.”

What has gotten into Americans? Nearly every time Trump publicly speaks he makes it clear there is very little about him to admire.
