Tehran, March 30, IRNA – Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Erdogan said Thursday evening that making use of peaceful nuclear technology is a legitimate right of all world countries.

In a an interview with Iranian TV Channel 2, Erdogan commented on the latest regional developments particularly those in Syria and Iraq as well as the question of Iran’s peaceful nuclear program.

On his recent talks with the US President Barack Obama on the venue of negotiations between Iran and the P5+1, the Turkish premier said his country has voiced its readiness to host the talks between Iran and 5+1 (the US, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany).

On Israeli atrocities, he condemned the West's double-standard policies regarding the Zionist regime.

As to the NATO missile defense settlement in Turkey, Erdogan said it should not be considered as a threat to Iran.

The Turkish prime minister arrived in Tehran on March 28 to review issues of mutual interest with senior Iranian officials.
