"Long Island Congressman Peter King said in the Republican Party's weekly address Saturday that the United States needs to send a different message in the war on terrorism. The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee said the nation needs to make clear that the government will ""stop at nothing to protect our homeland.'' King called for the passage of the ""Keep Terrorists Out Of America Act,"" which would prevent terrorists from being brought to the United States. The Republican-sponsored bill would stop the plan to put Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the alleged mastermind of the September 11th terrorist attacks, and four other suspects on trial in Manhattan. ""This is about whether we've learned our lesson. Terrorists still have innocent people in their sights and the will to murder them. They are always working on the next attack, refining their methods, searching the globe for new recruits,"" said King. ""In other words, September 11th is not ancient history.
