Where's Ken when you need him? The "Human Barbie" could have used a protector after being attacked outside of her home.
"They said nothing and did not try to rob me. It happened in a flash, they hit me on the head, several times on my jaw, then one of them began strangling me. If it wasn't for my neighbor who suddenly appeared, I don't know what would have happened. They saw her and ran away," Valeria Lukyanova said.
The 28-year-old, aka Human Barbie, gave the statement after being released from the hospital recovering from the attack outside her home in Odessa, Ukraine, on Halloween.
She believes the attack may be related to the two-year hate campaign that she has been enduring.
"I feel a little better, but my jaw is still hurting badly,” she added.
"I have been on the strongest painkiller for four days, but still woke in the middle of the night from horrible pains."
Lukyanova rose to fame for trying to become the human version of the famous Mattel doll Barbie. She has always been embroiled in controversies.
"Every good-looking woman with fine features and a slim figure looks like a doll. I won't deny that I play along with people's perceptions. I'm amused by the reactions. I don't take it seriously," she told the V magazine.
However, there is no denying her attempts looking at her hair, body proportions and glassy eyes.
There are actually websites out there like TheDirty.com that have gone to great lengths to accuse Lukyanova of Photoshopping her photo shoots, having plastic surgery and even being mentally unstable.
