A Pennsylvania man identified as “John Pisone” showed up at a protest against fracking just to carry out a vile, racist, discriminatory attack against the protesters and the black man who was filming the whole thing.
The video starts with Pisone approaching the protesters and asking if they’ve ever worked or had jobs, then he turns to the cameraman, Tom Jefferson, and starts making personal attacks against his race.
He calls Jefferson a slew of racial slurs including “chimp,” “monkey,” and of course … the infamous “N-word.”
He even went so far as to repeatedly make monkey noises into the camera and refer to Jefferson's hair as a “mop” advising him to cut it off if he expects to get a “real” job.
He also attacked the group of mostly white protesters, calling them lazy hippies, idiots and accusing them all of “milking his tax dollars.”
Other than just being a racist jerk, Pisone felt the group shouldn’t be protesting against fracking because it creates jobs. By taking a stand against the process that uses water to extract oil and natural gas by drilling into the earth, Pisone believes they are also against jobs for the community.
When one of the protesters asked Pisone why he wasn’t at work since he is such a crusader for jobs, he literally admitted that he was just “bored” and wanted to go out and "tease" them.
Yes, an adult said those words to other adults.
WARNING: Video contains foul, graphic language and may be disturbing to some.
Alas, after Jefferson posted the video of Pisone's rant on YouTube, the bigot got what was coming to him and was immediately fired from the job he valued so much.
MMC Land Management released the statement below condemning Pisone's actions:
Today, we were disgusted to learn that one of MMC’s former employees used racial slurs and made racially charged comments during a peaceful protest in Mars, Pennsylvania, outside of work hours at a location with which we have no affiliation. We are sorry that this incident occurred. Whether at work or not, we do not condone hate speech - EVER. Inclusion and diversity are among MMC’s core values. We believe in equality for everyone, regardless of race, age, gender identity, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation. MMC has terminated this employee and will never do business with him again in the future.
Lesson of the day: It never pays to be racist.
