Disturbing: Police In Ferguson Tear Gas Crowd Helping A Woman Having A Heart Attack

Police in Ferguson, Missouri apparently needs help in differentiating rioters from people trying to save a life.

The unbelievably horrifying video shows policemen firing rubber bullets and spraying tear gas on a group of people carrying an unconscious woman who had a heart attack during the protests in Ferguson.

The video isn’t clear but the people can be heard trying to tell the police the woman just had a heart attack and needed help.

"Let her go, back up, we will get her," shouts a policeman. Almost at the same time a tear gas canister is thrown at the crowd carrying the woman.

Here is an eye witness account:

The disturbing video shows a distraught woman in Ferguson telling Jake Tapper of CNN that the police had just tear gassed a woman who suffered a heart attack.

“There's a girl having a heart attack and they tear gassed her,” says the distraught woman, who calls herself Angel.

“I'm upset that this girl just had a heart attack down here, five, six people carrying her body and they tear gassed the girl! They throw gas on the girl, on top of her body, she's passed out! And they started throwing tear gas at the crowd. We're tired of this,” she laments.

Ferguson erupted in protests and flames after the decision by a St. Louis Grand jury to not indict Officer Darren Wilson for fatally shooting Michael Brown was made public.

Another person from the crowd shared the horrible experience as well:

There was widespread disappointment and violent reaction across Missouri and other states even though Brown's family requested people to remain calm.

"We are profoundly disappointed that the killer of our child will not face the consequence of his actions," Brown's family said in a statement made by their lawyer on their behalf. "While we understand that many others share our pain, we ask that you channel your frustration in ways that will make a positive change. We need to work together to fix the system that allowed this to happen."
