The kitchen sink is not a place where you should braid or wash your hair. Period.
Two Waffle House employees learned this valuable lesson the hard way after customers recorded them doing their hair in the kitchen of the restaurant using cooking supplies.
The incident happened in Forrest City, Arkansas, when several customers spotted, and then recorded, an employee dipping her hair into a pot of water while another assisted her with a towel.
"I just got out my phone and I just started to record," Antonio Robison, a customer, told WREG. "I just thought it was nasty and I needed to let somebody see this.”
Robinson claims his friend also found hair in his food. "I looked up at him," he added. "He went to pulling out strings of hair out his mouth."
After multiple videos of the incident went viral, Waffle House reportedly fired the employees.
“We were made aware of this via a Facebook Private message this morning,” the eatery’s management stated in an email to WREG. “We immediately reached out to the local management team. After identifying the parties involved, they were immediately terminated. The health department has been out to the restaurant for an inspection which it passed and they have closed the case. We do not tolerate these behaviors and strive to provide a clean, safe environment for all our customers.”
