The senseless murder of African American teenager Jordan Davis by Michael Dunn caused outrage. The subsequent mistrial of Dunn’s court case made that injustice even worse. There is a growing sentiment that the criminal justice system doesn’t protect African Americans, and doesn’t support them when they have been wronged.
But it’s hard to get people to listen to anger. Sarcasm, though, people respond to that. Jamie Nesbitt Golden channeled her anger into something humorous (and cute) with this tweet:
And from there, #DangerousBlackKids took off.
Not sure about those backward baby holders, but this is just an amazing picture (with hilarious caption in the accompanying tweet).
The cuteness continues:
It's not just toddlers who are #DangerousBlackKids. They stay dangerous when they grow up:
They must learn to be that way in school.
After that, a lifetime of troublemaking.
You have to keep an eye on these #DangerousBlackKids. You let them get out of hand and who knows where they'll end up.
