After receiving the heartfelt sympathies of media conservatives like Sarah Palin and Megyn Kelly, Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck, ‘Duck Dynasty’ patriarch Phil Robertson has gathered more support and his suspension from the A&E Network is being protested by the right-wing “hate group” Westboro Baptist Church (WBC).
The reality television star was booted out for his anti-gay remarks in a GQ magazine interview. His comments sparked criticism from gay advocacy groups GLAAD and the Human Rights Campaign, eventually leading to his indefinite suspension.

The Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church is notorious for picketing funerals of soldiers, hate crime victims and its anti-gay views. When the group intended to protest at the funeral of the Sandy Hook Elementary victims in December last year, they were stopped and a petition, calling on the government of the United States to officially recognize WBC as a hate group, was signed, which became the most popular of all on the White House website, We The People.
Since Phil Robertson was kicked out for vile statements against the homosexual community and WBC is strictly an anti-gay cult, they took it up as an opportunity to criticize and condemn A&E publicly against influential organizations such as GLAAD.
A&E will be picketed on February 1, 2014, according to the WBC’s Twitter account. They have even prepared a slogan that claims, “F*gs run A&E!”
A series of skits on Vine have also been prepared by WBC members that dramatize how “gay sympathizers” at A&E favor homosexuals over “God-loving” people.
