This is nuts...macadamia to be specific.
Heather Cho is Korean Air’s executive vice president. You'd think that passenger and employee happiness would be one of her main objectives.
Not so much.
She's come under fire for ordering a flight manager of the airline to get off a plane for providing poor service.
Cho, sitting in 1st class, took exception to the arrival of some macadamia nuts she had not asked for, and that they were served in a packet rather than a bowl.
Cho called for the plane’s service manual to be checked immediately. When the purser failed to locate the guidelines, she ordered him to deplane. The pilot had to turn the plane around to drop the flight attendant off, delaying the flight 12 minutes. Not a long time but forever when you're trapped in an airplane.
“We will review the situation as (Cho) has not shown conduct expected of all passengers on commercial flights,” said an official of The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
