No one likes getting a parking ticket or a speeding ticket, but most of the time when it happens, the officer is right. Once in a while, though, the officer is nuts for doing what they are doing.

An officer in San Diego arrested and handcuffed an on-duty fireman because he would not move his fire truck. It gets worse: the firefighters were helping victims of a rollover car crash on the highway. The only case that the officer has is that the fire truck was parked not just illegally, but dangerously.

Still, is arrest really the proper protocol there? Actually, forget protocol for a second, is there any case for the arrest being the right thing to do?

There may be more to this story, but what we have now looks terrible for the policeman.
